Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026 · Data controller: Yanivos Ltd · Tel Aviv, Israel · support@gammonrivals.com

Gammon Rivals is in final preparation ahead of launch, and this Policy may still change before then. We'll update the date above whenever it does.

1. About this Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Gammon Rivals application, website, and related services (the “App”), how we use and share it, and the rights you have. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

By using the App you acknowledge the practices described here. Where we rely on your consent, we will ask for it separately.

2. Who we are

We, Yanivos Ltd, are the controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the App. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@gammonrivals.com.

3. The data we collect

We collect what we need to run the game and to maintain and improve the App. We do not collect payment card details — purchases are handled by the app stores (Section 7).

(a) Account & identity data

  • For guest play: an anonymous, device-linked account identifier generated for you. We do not require your name or email to play as a guest.
  • If you sign in with Google: your Google account email, display name, and basic Google profile information (and a Google account identifier), as provided by Google Sign-In.
  • A display name and profile/avatar selection shown to other players.

(b) Gameplay & game-economy data

  • Game progress and statistics: level, experience (XP), rating, and rankings.
  • Virtual Currency balances (Coins, Gems) and a ledger of in-game transactions (entry amounts, prizes, bonuses, rewards).
  • Match data: games played, moves, results, and per-turn timing used to operate matches, matchmaking, rankings, and anti-abuse.
  • Missions, bonuses, wheel spins, owned Virtual Items (e.g., board themes), and similar feature activity.
  • Online-presence status (whether you are currently online), used for live features.

(c) Purchase data

Records of In-App Purchases and entitlements (what you bought and whether it was delivered). The payment itself is processed by the app store; we receive a confirmation/entitlement, not your card or bank details.

(d) Technical & device data

  • Device and app information (e.g., device/OS type, app version, language) and general usage/diagnostic signals.
  • IP address and connection metadata, used for security, fraud/abuse prevention, and approximate region.
  • Crash and error diagnostics captured by our crash-reporting provider (Section 7), which may include device state, error/stack data, and limited context.

(e) Communications & support

If you contact support or send feedback, the content of your message and your contact details.

(f) Cookies / local storage / similar technologies

The App and website use local storage / device storage to keep you signed in and remember settings.

(g) Advertising & analytics

The App does not currently display third-party advertising or share data with advertising partners. If we introduce advertising, or additional analytics beyond the crash/diagnostic reporting described in Section 3(d), in the future, we will update this Policy before doing so and, where required, ask for your consent.

We do not knowingly collect special-category (sensitive) data, and we ask you not to provide it.

4. How we collect it

  • Directly from you — when you create or sign in to an account, choose a display name/avatar, make a purchase, play, or contact us.
  • Automatically — as you use the App (gameplay, device/technical, diagnostics).
  • From third parties — from Google when you choose Google Sign-In, and from the app stores when you make a purchase.

5. How we use your data, and our legal bases

We use personal data to:

6. Advertising

We do not currently show advertising in the App, and we do not sell your personal data. If that changes, this section will be updated first, together with the choices and opt-outs that apply at that time.

7. Who we share it with (service providers & sub-processors)

We share personal data with providers that process it on our behalf under contract, with the app stores, and where legally required. Current providers:

  • Supabase — authentication, database, realtime, and file storage (our core back-end).
  • Sentry — crash and error reporting/diagnostics.
  • Vercel — web hosting/CDN (the Android app's in-app view loads the live site).
  • Google — Google Sign-In (authentication) when you choose it.
  • Apple App Store / Google Play — purchase processing for In-App Purchases, under their own terms and privacy policies.

If we add advertising or additional analytics partners, we will update this list before their data collection begins.

We may also disclose data to comply with law or legal process, to enforce our Terms, to protect rights, safety, and security, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (subject to this Policy).

8. International data transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK Addendum), or another lawful transfer mechanism.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the App and for the purposes described here, then delete or anonymise it. In general:

  • Account & gameplay data — while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward if your account becomes inactive rather than deleted outright.
  • Purchase/transaction records — for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting, and legal obligations.
  • Crash/diagnostic data — for a limited period sufficient to investigate and fix issues.

You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time (Section 10), which is immediate rather than waiting out any retention period above.

10. Your rights and account deletion

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent (without affecting prior processing). California residents also have rights to know, correct, and delete, and not to be discriminated against for exercising rights.

To exercise any right, contact support@gammonrivals.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity.

Deleting your account. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time:

  • In the app: Profile → Delete account, then confirm.
  • On the web (no app needed): gammonrivals.com/delete-account, which lets you delete in-app or request deletion by email.

Deletion is immediate and irreversible and removes your account, profile, balances, transaction history, match history, and in-game items (it does not refund prior purchases; store-side purchase records are managed by Apple/Google).

If you are in the EEA/UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Children

The App is intended for users 18 and over (see the Terms) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including access controls and database row-level security on our back-end. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and device secure.

13. Third-party services & links

Sign-in providers, the app stores, and any third-party services you reach through the App are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., in the App or on our website) and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance, except where consent is required.
